The Opera Guild of Southern Arizona has been supporting opera students since 1958. Over the past 20 years, the keystone of our assistance has been Quest for the Best, an afternoon of beautiful singing by the top graduate and undergraduate opera students in Southern Arizona.

On April 6, 2024, at 1:00pm, Quest for the Best returns to Holsclaw Hall on the UA campus after a four-year absence. Please join us as we present the current cream of the crop. Their efforts not only entertain you, but give them needed experience before a live audience…and through your generosity they will be rewarded with a total of $8000 toward their opera education.

If you need further incentive to enjoy a spring Saturday afternoon of song, a delicious dessert reception follows the concert. You'll meet and chat with the singers, faculty, and fellow opera lovers.

Tickets are just $30 ($15 for students, faculty, and College of Fine Arts staff members). Make your reservation now, and help us reward these outstanding young singers with a generous donation, on our website. All donors will be recognized in our program booklet.
